My name is Abed Harb, and I’m running to ensure that Ward 10 gets the investment, representation and attention it deserves. I was born and raised in Ward 10, and I know the incredible people who live here and the incredible potential of Northeast Calgary. I’m a proud graduate of the University of Calgary, with two degrees - one in economics and the other in international relations. I have been a community advocate and organizer in the Northeast for over 20 years, and have extensive experience in the energy sector, having worked as a senior analyst with a major energy company, where I focused on business development, market access, and mergers and acquisitions. I am currently on leave from my role as the Senior Advisor to the Minister of Agriculture. With my experience in the non-profit sector, the private sector, and in government, I know I possess the skills needed to truly address the concerns of Ward 10 residents and to revitalize this essential part of Calgary. I am committed to ensuring that Ward 10 gets the attention, representation, and investment it deserves.
